Cultural Celebrations

Independence Day BBQ

Wave your American flag! It's a summer tradition and an important celebration of local and national history. Every summer, we gather to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, which freed the 13 original colonies from the British Empire, and created the foundation for the modern United States of America. IHP residents and community members join together to explore Philadelphia’s historical significance and enjoy American festivities with hot dogs, hamburgers, rock ’n’ roll, games, and summer sun.

Event will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on the IHP front patio.
