IHouse Brisbane Flood Relief

If you have been following the news in the past several weeks, you are aware that Australia has had devastating flooding and storms for the past several months. International House Brisbane received extensive damage and has to close its doors to residents for three to six months. Even with comprehensive insurance coverage, the restoration of rooms, equipment and personal items will require an enormous financial commitment from many.

International House Philadelphia are putting together a fundraising campaign to help our fellow residents in Australia.  We would like to get the support of you.  Here are a few ways you can help International House Brisbane get back to opening its doors.

1. Spread the word. Tell your friends, classmates and post to social media that International House Brisbane needs their help.

2. Give. Any amount is appreciated ($1, $5, $10 or more). Here is a list of what your gift can do:

- $30 is the price of a new blanket
- $100 will provide a student with a computer chair or equipment in the Game room
- $600 gives a student a new mattress & bed frame
- $1200 provides international students with a computer for their computer lab
