Pearls of the East: International Vision Awards Ceremony + Reception
Please join us as we present the International Vision Award to prominent leaders in the Asian-American community whose efforts and contributions have had a positive impact on life in the greater Philadelphia region.
Along with lead sponsor Wells Fargo, we will present the International Vision Award to:
Dr. Nina Ahmad, on behalf of the Mayor’s Commission on Asian American Affairs, recognized for its work serving as a connector between the Asian American community and social service, community, cultural organizations and Philadelphia’s City government;
Mr. Joe Kim, Rising Young Leader, recognized for his work as the head of the Asian American Film Festival;
Mr. Danny Lau for his tireless work in the community;
Ms. Susan Jin Davis, on behalf of Comcast Corporation, recognized for Comcast’s Corporate Leadership in the Asian American Community;
Dr. Walter Tsou, for Civic Leadership, recognized for his work as a public health specialist, and past president of the American Public Health Association.
The IHP International Vision Award is conferred to persons or groups who have contributed to the success of this region’s recognition as an international first class destination, and who have worked alongside IHP in our mission to encourage cooperation and respect among the peoples of all nations, and we invite to you join us in this celebration.
100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Arts, Cultural and Humanities Fund at International House Philadelphia.
The price of admission includes food, open bar, and the Lunar New Year Celebration following the award ceremony.
