Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali symbolizes the victory of good over evil, and lamps are lit as a sign of celebration and hope for mankind. Join us in IHP’s Ibrahim Theater for delicious food, a mini-Melas (fair), and wonderful performances, including live Hindustani and folk music by Jeremy Dyen and Thomas Flanagan of Amrita Music Group, and dance performance pieces based on the techniques of Indian Classical dance Bharatanatyam by Usiloquy Dance Design.
