Jessica makes desperate attempts to protect herself at night. But the lines of dreams and reality blur when she starts experiencing strange occurrences in her apartment. Soon Jessica fears for her life. She goes to see a parapsychologist whose insight into demon folklore concerning sleep paralysis only makes things worse.
