The Second Annual International Entrepreneurs Summit of Philadelphia, hosted by Greenberg Traurig, LLP and International House Philadelphia, is  an opportunity for foreign entrepreneurs to learn more about launching a business in the region and connect with business leaders.


The FREE ADMISSION event will include:

Beth Cohen
Director of Global Emerging Growth Services | Greenberg Traurig, LLP

Beth Cohen has served as a business development, marketing and legal professional with more than 20 years of experience in international and domestic markets covering the technology, health care, clean tech and life sciences industries. She has led diverse strategic and marketing initiatives, negotiated key business relationships, and worked as legal counsel for large and small companies.  In her role as Director of Global Emerging Growth Services, she advises clients on emerging growth issues, and counsels early and growth stage clients in connection with key strategic initiatives, including raising capital. Beth also advises foreign companies in connection with their entry into the U.S. market.

Dani Forman
Business Development Associate | OurCrowd

Dani Forman is an associate for OurCrowd’s business development team and a founding member of the company’s marketing team. As an early employee at OurCrowd, Dani was initially responsible for managing the growth of the investor community, now over 10,000 members strong. Dani currently sits in the company’s New York office, focusing on the strategic growth of the OurCrowd portfolio in the US. Before attending university in Israel, Dani served in the IDF’s Artillery Corps, completing his service with the rank of Sergeant. Dani graduated from Bar Ilan University with a bachelor’s degree in economics.  

David Gitlin

David Gitlin co-leads the firm’s Emerging Technology Practice. He focuses his practice on corporate and securities, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, technology development, and corporate finance. For more than 30 years, David has counseled foreign clients doing business in the United States and U.S. clients doing business abroad. He has structured more than 350 M&A and venture capital deals, many of which have been cross-border transactions involving leading businesses in Finland, India, Israel and Sweden, among others.  David represents both U.S. and foreign venture capital funds and angel investors, and has handled numerous technology development transactions, including collaborations between industry and academia.


Marc Kramer
Executive Director | Private Investors Forum

Marc Kramer is executive director of the Private Investors Forum, which introduces entrepreneurs to Angel investors. Marc, a serial entrepreneur, is a former Inc. Entrepreneur of the Year, author of six books and a columnist for SmartCEO magazine, American City Business Journal, and Executive-in-Residence at Saint Joseph's University.


Nataliya Rymer
Of Counsel | Greenberg Traurig, LLP

Nataliya Rymer focuses her practice on employment-based immigration and compliance. She represents clients in a wide range of employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant matters, including professionals, managers and executives, artists and entertainers, treaty traders and investors, immigrant investors, and persons of extraordinary ability. Nataliya also has experience working with employers on I-9 employment verification matters as well as H-1B and LCA compliance-related issues. She counsels employers on due diligence issues, including internal audits and reviews, as well as minimization of exposure and liabilities in government investigations.

Chuck Sacco

Chuck Sacco is a technology entrepreneur, educator, advisor and public speaker. His career includes a track-record of launching and growing businesses in the fields of enterprise software, business process management and mobile apps.  In addition to his roles at Drexel, Chuck is President of Mobile Monday Mid-Atlantic, is an advisory board member at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship in Philadelphia, is a founding member of the Philadelphia Regional Entrepreneurship Education Consortium and is a member of the City of Philadelphia's Startup Advisory Group. He is an advisor to numerous entrepreneurs and their companies. Chuck has a B.S. in Information Systems from St. Joseph’s University and M.B.A. in Technology Management from Drexel University.

Lauren Swartz
Director of International Business Investment

Department of Commerce, City of Philadelphia
 

In her role as Director of International Business Investment for the City of Philadelphia under the Department of Commerce, Lauren Swartz works with international businesses to create foreign direct investment in Philadelphia. She also supports initiatives to grow Philadelphia’s exports, helping to create jobs and strengthen the local economy. She plays a key role laying the strategy for Philadelphia’s international business development, hosting delegations from abroad, and representing the City of Philadelphia. 
 
Previously Lauren served as the Deputy Director at the non-profit trade association, Food Export USA – Northeast, working to promote exports in over 40 countries around the world. Funded by USDA, this public-private partnership produced over $500 million in export sales annually.  Lauren also has experience running her own consulting firm specializing in international project management and food marketing. She also worked in Copenhagen, Denmark at an international university where she facilitated programs for students of European politics, business and economics.
 
Lauren is a Leadership Fellow of the Leadership Philadelphia Core Class of 2016.  She is a member of Toastmasters International and also serves as an advocate, volunteer and development committee member for Women Against Abuse in Philadelphia.  She earned a B.A. in Communications at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with minors in Business Economics, Spanish and Philosophy. She speaks Danish and some Spanish and has traveled for work and pleasure to over 25 countries.  She lives in South Philadelphia with her family.

Nili Lesnik

General Manager | GNS Corp (USA)

 

In June 2016, Nili relocated to Philadelphia to establish Golden Number Solutions Corp., a company that provides the aviation industry unique performance-based, end-to-end solutions that focus on advanced maintenance, logistics and fleet management programs services to Government and private air operators. 

 

Prior to joining GNS, Nili served as General Manager of the Kahn Family Office and CEO of the investment company Aurum MKI, where a business process she implemented to upgrade the investment portfolio resulted in several successful transactions, including a strategic acquisition and an IPO in NASDAQ. Prior to these positions, Nili led the major campaigns in Europe and Australia for Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT), a Multi-Domestic Defense Electronics Company, resulted in closing more than $500 million in sales and establish a strong local presence of the company. In 2006, Nili retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the IAF.  

During the course of her career, she held several high ranking professional roles, including Head of the Planning & Economics Division and the Head of the Sales Division in the IAF Budget Department. Nili holds a B.A. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management from Ben-Gurion University.
