Matteo Bini & Giorgio Pasotti | 2015 | 90 min - with English subtitles

Paolo (Giorgio Pasotti) is the host of a popular tv show. Hi father Giovanni (Roberto Herlitzka), former actor and renowned Harlequin, was hospitalized due to an illness. The return to the country and the contact with his father and his hometown drive Paolo to mending his relationship to his origins, to redefining his identity and to rediscovering the artistic treasure represented by the character of Harlequin, of whom he finds himself dressing the part.

The Cinema Studies Program and the Center for Italian Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia and the International House of Philadelphia, present the 2015 edition of NEW ITALIAN CINEMA. The festival has been curated by Nicola M. Gentili (Penn, Cinema Studies) and aims at promoting Italian Cinema abroad with very recent released feature films.
