On
Saturday, January 27, 2007, International House Philadelphia
was honored to host
Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of
Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall as a
part
of their historic visit to Philadelphia.
Their
Royal Highnesses were met by IHP Mosaic Society Member, Steve
Steinour, IHP President and CEO, Oliver Franklin, and a crowd
of well-wishers.
Prince
Charles joined a roundtable discussion led by Marshall Scholar,
Dr. Darryl Banks, which was exploring the issues of urban
renewal.
The
Duchess toured a pair of suites, meeting residents of International
House and sharing tea with a group of female students. Joining
her was IHP Mosaic Society Member, Patty Steinour.
Following
the roundtable discussion and suite tour, The Prince and The
Duchess joined a reception with International House residents
and Mosaic Society Members.
